The Greatest Gift You'll Ever Receive

At The Makers Table, we love creating handcrafted products for your home and family. But more important than anything we could ever make with our hands is sharing the gift that God has already provided through His Son, Jesus Christ.

The Bible teaches that salvation is not something we earn by good works, church attendance, baptism, or trying to be a better person. Salvation is a free gift offered by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)

The good news is wonderfully simple.

 Admit

The first step is recognizing that we are all sinners in need of a Savior.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Romans 3:23 (KJV)

None of us can earn our way to Heaven because every one of us has sinned against a holy God. 

Believe

Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8 (KJV)

Jesus paid the price we could never pay ourselves.

Call Upon the Name of the Lord

Once you understand that you are a sinner and believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again, call upon Him. Turn to Christ and trust Him alone to save you.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:13, KJV

Do not wait to make yourself better before coming to Jesus. Come to Him now. God never intended salvation to be confusing or complicated. Jesus has already done the work, and the invitation is to repent, believe the Gospel, and trust Him alone for your salvation. Once you do, you are justified in Christ, and you can not lose your salvation. 

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
