The greatest thing a church has to offer is not a gift bag—it is the faithful preaching of God's Word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everything else should simply support the hospitality surrounding that purpose.

Don't Forget the Personal Touch

Whatever you choose, one of the most meaningful additions costs almost nothing: a handwritten note. Tell a pastor why his preaching has helped your family. Thank a Sunday School teacher for investing in your child. Let children write notes to their teachers. Encourage a missionary family. Tell the quiet servant behind the scenes that someone notices their faithfulness. The soap will eventually be used. The lip balm will run out. But sincere words of biblical encouragement may be remembered for years.

Church gift-giving should never become another source of pressure. Not every conference needs an elaborate favor, and not every ministry event needs matching gift bags worthy of a photograph. Work within the budget the Lord has provided. Give cheerfully. Keep Christ, His Word, and the purpose of the gathering at the center.

Because our traditional cold-process soaps require about four to five weeks to cure, we recommend contacting us at least eight weeks before your event, especially if the quantity or variety you need isn't currently in stock.

Most importantly, we never want churches and ministries to feel like another sales opportunity. We have tremendous respect for the pastors, missionaries, their families, teachers, workers, and church members faithfully stewarding the work the Lord has entrusted to them. If something our family makes can become one small part of encouraging someone who serves the Lord, we count that a privilege.
